Well what a season it turned out to be...and for the Anysportphotos backed Mitsubishi EVO IV of Spencer Vanderpal he rounded off the season with a class trophy and very nearly upsetting the big boys finishing level on points but losing out on the overall championship on the number of overall wins...Well done Spencer...

Karim Al-Azhari in his immaculately prepared Al Nabooda Racing Porsche 996 GT2 finally took the top honours after coming from behind to take the title.

In the Radical Cup, Fahad Al-Musalam took the championship in
his 777 Racing SR5 after a season long battle with Bassam "Buzz" Kronfli.

The most dramatic racing on the day was in the Superstock/Stock class 600cc bike series. After a season long battle between the Yamaha mounted "PAPA" Rod Scott and Kawasaki rider Abdul Aziz, the final outcome was not decided until the final few laps of the final race of the season. Abdul Aziz making a mistake and sliding off his Green machine whilst chasing Papa Rod for the lead. Rod was unaware of this and kept his head down to take the win and the title. To say he deserved it after such a hard fought season for the wiley old Scot is an understatement - The relief and emotion was there for all to see as the huge following of family, friends and supporters were there to greet the "big man"...well done mate...
